Description

The Performance FHD Webcam is Lenovo's pan-and-tilt desktop camera. A 1/2.9in sensor with 2.8 micron pixels captures 1920 x 1080 at 30fps behind a 95 degree diagonal lens, and 3D temporal noise reduction cleans up dim offices. The mount allows a full 360 degrees of pan as well as tilt, so the camera can be aimed at a whiteboard or a second person rather than only straight ahead.Its distinguishing feature is Windows Hello 4.x infrared facial recognition — the machine unlocks on sight without a password. Two microphones are built in, and an internal sliding privacy shutter physically blocks the lens.The 1.8m USB-A to USB-C cable is detachable, which is worth having when the camera has to reach a tower under a desk or when a cable gets damaged. Lenovo supports Windows 7 through 11, macOS 10.14 and later, Ubuntu 20.04 and ChromeOS. Note that this is the oldest camera in Lenovo's current line-up and carries a one-year warranty rather than the three years on the newer models.
