Description

The W2000 is the privacy-minded member of Kensington's professional webcam range. Its field of view is a deliberately narrow 75 degrees diagonal, which frames the speaker rather than the room behind them, and an integrated lens cover physically blocks the camera when it is not wanted.

Video is 1080p at 30 fps with automatic focus and light correction, and an omnidirectional microphone with noise reduction handles the audio. Electronic pan, tilt and 2x zoom are available in software, and the mount allows 37 degrees of manual vertical and 360 degrees of horizontal adjustment.

Kensington's Konnect software gives access to the video settings without hunting through the conferencing application, and a USB-A to USB-C adapter is included so the camera works with older and newer machines alike. The housing meets MIL-STD-810H Method 504.3 for contamination by fluids, meaning it can be wiped down with disinfectant. Kensington provides a limited two-year warranty.
