Description

The C505e is Logitech's business-channel HD webcam, aimed at estates that need a large number of adequate cameras rather than a small number of excellent ones. It captures 720p at 30 fps through a 60 degree diagonal fixed field of view, with RightLight 2 handling exposure.

Two things separate it from a consumer camera at the same price. The cable is 2 m rather than the usual 1.5 m, which is the difference between reaching a tower PC under a desk and not. And the single omnidirectional microphone is tuned for long-range pickup, rated to about three metres, so it will cover someone who is not sitting directly in front of the machine.

It works over USB-A on Windows, macOS and ChromeOS with the common calling applications, clips to a laptop, LCD or monitor, and carries a three-year limited hardware warranty.
