It fits large-format signage that runs unattended: a reception or foyer wall, a canteen menu and notice board, a retail floor, a corridor, a departure or queue board, or a large room display driven from a room PC. It is a commercial panel rated for continuous use rather than a television, and at 86 inches it is meant to be read across a space rather than from a desk.

They are two revisions of the same 86-inch screen and we sell both. Physically they are the same: 47.9kg, the same dimensions, the same mounting pattern, the same IPS panel at 500 cd/m2 and 1200:1, the same 2 x 16W speakers and the same 24/7 rating. The B2AG has three HDMI inputs, 2GB of memory, 16GB of storage and draws 145W typically. The B3AG has a newer Android release with iiControl device management and iiShare added, 4GB of memory, 32GB of storage, two HDMI inputs plus a USB-C input, and draws 277W typically. Neither is simply better: choose the B2AG for running cost and the extra HDMI input, the B3AG for management and USB-C.

The panel is 47.9kg on its own and 62.2kg in its box, measuring 1938 x 1109 x 79.5mm. Two people is the absolute minimum and three is more realistic once it is going up a wall at height, with the right access equipment. Check the delivery route as well, because a box nearly two metres wide will not fit every stairwell or lift car.

One that can carry 47.9kg plus the weight of the bracket at height: solid masonry, concrete, or a stud wall with steel reinforcement or a backing plate designed in. Plasterboard with cavity fixings is not suitable for a panel this size. Have the fixings specified for the actual wall build rather than assumed, and check the bracket against the mounting pattern in the specification table on this page.

No. Android 11 is built into the display with iiSignage2 content management, EShare wireless sharing and FailOver input recovery, running on 2GB of memory and 16GB of storage. A playlist can be scheduled and updated over the network. Three HDMI 2.0 inputs are there if you would rather drive it from an external player, a room PC or a laptop.

Yes. iiyama lists both orientations for this model, so it works as a tall directory, a wayfinding panel or a menu column as well as a wide wall screen. Set the orientation in the display settings and lay the content out to match before it goes on the wall, and make sure the bracket you choose is rated for the orientation you intend.

No. At 500 cd/m2 this is a standard indoor signage brightness, right for a foyer, a corridor, a canteen or a retail interior, but not for a shop window or a glazed atrium where daylight falls directly on the screen. That job needs the high-brightness tier at around 800 cd/m2. Measure the light at the intended position before you commit.

Around 145W in typical use, 0.5W in standby and 0.3W switched off, at energy class F. On a screen rated for 24/7 operation it matters a great deal: this revision draws roughly half what the current B3AG revision does, so across a year of continuous running, and across several screens, the difference is a real line in the operating budget rather than a specification footnote.

Three HDMI 2.0 inputs, each taking 4K at 60Hz, two USB 2.0 ports, a 3.5mm audio jack and 2 x 16W speakers. For control there is wired LAN, an RS-232c port on a 2.5mm sub-mini jack and an IR input, and WiFi covers both 2.4G and 5G bands. There is no USB-C input on this revision, so a laptop with USB-C video output needs an adapter or an HDMI cable.

Yes. iiyama rates it for 24/7 non-stop operation with a 50,000 hour MTBF figure. It is fanless, so it adds no noise in a quiet reception, and it has anti image retention for content with fixed elements such as a logo, a header bar or a static sidebar. Its operating temperature range is 0 to 40C, which is worth checking if it is going into a recess, a bulkhead or a glazed space.
