They are two revisions of the same 75-inch display and we sell both. The chassis, the 4K IPS panel, the 500 cd/m2 brightness, the 1200:1 contrast, the speakers, the three HDMI inputs, the SDM-L slot, the 29.5kg weight and the 1679.5 x 958.5 x 55mm dimensions are identical. The B2AG is the newer and better specified: iiyama lists iiControl device management and iiShare on it, which this B1AG does not have, quotes its MTBF at 50,000 hours against 44,000 here, and rates it at 187W typical with 0.3W in off mode against 189W and 0.5W. If you are managing screens remotely or standardising an estate, the B2AG is the one to ask for.

It is a commercial signage display rated for continuous operation rather than a television, and at 75 inches it is meant to carry content across an open room rather than to be read from a desk.

It is a standard slot for a plug-in compute module that sits inside the display and is powered by it. Fit one and the screen runs whatever that module runs, typically Windows, so the content platform is yours rather than the display maker's. On a 75-inch flush wall mount it also removes the player box, its power supply and its cable from behind the panel. The module is bought separately.

Content can be scheduled and updated through iiSignage2 over the network, and the display takes wired LAN, RS-232c and IR for control from a room system or a building controller. iiyama's iiControl device management is not listed on this revision, only on the later B2AG, so if central device management across an estate is part of the requirement, order the B2AG and confirm the platform with us first.

No. At 500 cd/m2 this is the standard indoor signage level, right for a foyer, a corridor, a canteen or a retail interior away from direct sun. A shop window or an atrium where daylight falls on the screen needs the high-brightness tier that starts around 800 cd/m2. On a screen this large the cost of getting that wrong is high, so measure the light at the position and at the time of day that matters.

Yes. iiyama rates it for 24/7 non-stop operation, it is fanless, and anti image retention is built in for layouts with fixed elements. The MTBF figure quoted for this revision is 44,000 hours excluding the backlight, which is lower than the 50,000 hours quoted for the later B2AG and for the other sizes in this range. The operating temperature range is 0 to 40 degrees C.

Yes. iiyama lists landscape and portrait orientation for this model, so it works as a tall directory or a poster-style panel as well as a wide screen. At 1679.5mm on the long edge a portrait install is a tall object, so check the ceiling height, the sightline and that the bracket is rated for the rotated position before you commit.

It weighs 29.5kg and 41kg in its box, measuring 1679.5 x 958.5 x 55mm. That is a two-person lift at minimum, a wall that has to be rated for the load, and an access route that will take a box that size. The mounting pattern is listed in the specification table on this page; leave the rear connections and the module bay reachable for service afterwards.
