Description

The ELPDC13 is the digital-zoom model in Epson's desktop visualiser range and the straightforward choice where a room needs to put paper, objects and microscope slides on screen without a laptop in the middle. The 1/2.7-inch CMOS sensor captures 1920 x 1080 at up to 30fps over an A3 shooting area.

Zoom is 16x digital with autofocus rather than an optical assembly, which keeps the unit lighter and cheaper than the optical-zoom ELPDC21 while covering the same field of view. Freeze, split screen, image rotation and a black-and-white mode are all on the unit, and a microscope adapter is supplied.

HDMI out and VGA out drive a projector or display directly; VGA in lets a connected PC share the same cable run, and an SD/SDHC slot with the built-in image viewer replays captured stills with no computer attached. It folds to 367 x 122 x 120mm and weighs 2.5kg.
