Description

The EH-TW840 is Epson's bright Full HD home projector, built for living rooms rather than blacked-out cinema rooms. 3LCD gives it 4,000 lumens of colour light output as well as 4,000 lumens white, which is what keeps a daytime match or a bright animated film watchable with the curtains open.

Resolution is native 1080p on a 0.62-inch C2 Fine panel with a 16,000:1 contrast ratio. The 1.21-1.45:1 throw ratio with a 1.2x manual zoom supports images from 34 to 337 inches, placing a 60-inch picture at 1.6-1.92m — close enough for a shelf or a coffee table in a normal room.

Two HDMI inputs cover a console and a streaming box, with split-screen if both need to be on at once, and an optional wireless LAN adapter adds iProjection support. The UHE lamp is rated at 6,000 hours normal and 12,000 hours in economy mode, and the body measures 302 x 252 x 92mm at 2.7kg.
