Description
The ATEN VM8584K1 is a four-port output board for ATEN modular matrix switches such as the VM1600A, VM3200 and VM3250. The chassis ships empty of I/O; boards like this are what define how many sources and displays the frame handles and which connectors they use, so a system is specified by its board mix rather than by a fixed model number.
It presents 4 x bi-directional SFP+ (LC) on the chassis rear. Boards are hot-swappable, so an installation can start small and grow, or change interface type later, without replacing the frame.
Video is supported to 4096 x 2160 / 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz (4:2:0). Supplied to order from TopAV with ATEN's 36-month warranty.
