Description

The VM6404HB carries uncompressed video at up to 4096 x 2160 or 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz with full 4:4:4 chroma across four inputs and four outputs, at a data rate of 18 Gbps. That is enough headroom for detailed source material such as CAD, medical imaging or fine text to survive the trip through the matrix intact.

A 4K scaler converts every input to the resolution its destination display prefers, while Seamless Switch keeps the stream continuous across a source change. Video wall layouts are configured from the web GUI, and the True 4K EDID Expert manages what each source is told about the displays downstream.

Management is available from the front panel, an IR remote, RS-232, or over Ethernet by Telnet and web GUI, and the unit is visible to the ATEN Video Matrix Control app. The chassis is metal and rack-mountable.
