Description

The VM0808HB routes any of eight True 4K HDMI sources to any of eight HDMI displays without scaling or re-encoding, holding 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma and HDR10+ at signalling rates up to 18 Gbps. Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio pass through intact.

Power-on detection switches an output to the next powered-on source when the current one is turned off, which keeps a signage or meeting-room display showing something useful without operator intervention. EDID Expert manages resolution negotiation across the estate, and LockPro HDMI cable locking holds connectors in place.

The matrix is controlled from front-panel pushbuttons, an IR remote, RS-232 or Ethernet with web GUI and Telnet, and appears in the ATEN Video Matrix Control app. Firmware is field-upgradeable and the chassis occupies one rack unit.
