Description

The VanCryst VM5404H sends any of four HDMI sources to any of four HDMI displays, with ATEN's Seamless Switch FPGA design keeping the video stream continuous through a change of source instead of dropping to black while the sink re-syncs.

The scaler converts each input to the resolution the display works best at, and video wall layouts are built through the web GUI. EDID Expert picks appropriate EDID settings so sources negotiate the right mode at power-up, and output runs of up to 15 m are supported with 24 AWG cable.

Control options cover front-panel pushbuttons, IR, a bi-directional RS-232 port for third-party control systems, and Ethernet using Telnet or the web GUI. The metal chassis sits on a desk or in a rack and is rated to 50 degrees C.
