Description

The VM51616H is the largest of ATEN's fixed-I/O Seamless Switch matrices, connecting any of sixteen HDMI sources to any of sixteen HDMI displays from a 2U rack chassis. An extra array-mode output lets an operator preview several sources at once without stealing one of the sixteen live outputs.

Seamless Switch keeps the video stream running through a change of source, the built-in scaler converts each input to the display's preferred resolution, and FrameSync locks the scaler output to the source frame rate so a video wall stays free of tearing. Custom video wall layouts are configured through the web GUI, and EDID Expert manages resolution negotiation across a large mixed estate of screens.

The unit is managed from the front panel, over RS-232, or across the network by Telnet or web GUI, and appears in the ATEN Video Matrix Control app for tablet-based operation.
