Description

The ATEN VE883ATK1 extends HDMI over duplex fibre rather than copper. Fibre is electrically isolated, so it crosses between buildings, through plant rooms and past heavy machinery without ground loops or interference — the situations where an HDBaseT run over Cat 6 starts to fail.

It reaches 300 m over OM3 multimode fibre. Video runs to 4096x2160@60Hz (4:4:4) / 3840x2160@60Hz (4:4:4). Alongside video it carries audio, USB, IR, RS-232 and Gigabit Ethernet on the same pair, so a remote position gets a full working console and not just a picture.

SFP+ modules are supplied with the unit to match the fibre type. Supplied to order from TopAV with ATEN's 36-month warranty.

Prevents lagging and freezing by matching the output rates to the input rates and ensures the 4K@60Hz video display to be stable, smooth and identical to the source through 10 Gbps bandwidth.

Bi-directional IR signal transmission

IR transmission is processed one direction at a time, ranged from 30 kHz to 56 kHz.
