ATEN KN2132VB 1-Local/2-Remote Access 32-Port Multi-Interface Cat 5 KVM over IP Switch

The ATEN KN2132VB is a rack-mounted KVM switch that puts 32 servers behind a single keyboard, monitor and mouse. Its over-IP console adds browser-based access, so the same estate can be reached from a desk elsewhere on the network or across a VPN without another console being wired in. Cascading takes the addressable total to 512 (via cascade).

Server connections are 32 x RJ-45 Female. The local console attaches through 2 x USB Type-A Female (White), 1 x HDMI Female (Black), 1 x VGA HDB-15 (Blue). Ports can be selected by Pushbuttons, Hotkeys, GUI. Up to 2 remote sessions can be active at once alongside the local user, which suits shift handovers and shared support teams. Keyboard and mouse emulation covers PS/2; USB, so attached machines boot cleanly whether or not the switch is focused on them.

Deployed in an AV rack the switch removes the need for a monitor per source, and pairs naturally with ATEN's LCD console drawers and eco PDUs to build a single serviceable equipment stack.
