Description
The ATEN KG0016 is a 1U DigiKVM gateway that brings 16 servers onto the network for over-IP console access. There is no local console: each of the 16 RJ-45 ports connects to a server through an ATEN DigiProcessor adapter, and operators reach any of them from a browser, which suits estates spread across several rooms or sites.

Remote video is carried at up to 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz. Two SFP+ uplink slots allow redundant LAN paths or two-network operation, and dual IEC C14 inlets with independent rocker switches provide redundant power. A small front LCD reports live connection status and system alerts without a laptop being plugged in. Keyboard and mouse emulation is USB.
Fibre or copper SFP+ modules are ordered separately. The chassis is metal and weighs 5.86 kg ( 12.92 lb ), and ATEN rates it for 0-40 degrees C operation. ATEN provides a three-year warranty. This item is available to order from TopAV.
