Vision CS-1900P Pair of 70W Active Bluetooth Ceiling Speakers

The CS-1900P takes Vision's passive ceiling loudspeaker and builds a 70 watt amplifier into one of the pair. The amplified unit carries the connection panel and drives the passive slave over a supplied five-metre speaker cable, so a small meeting room gets working audio without a rack, an amplifier or a separate power run.

Bluetooth is the headline input and can be renamed and given a PIN using the Windows software, with details stored for up to eight paired devices. There is also a line-level input on 2-phono and 3.5 mm minijack. A relay lets the speakers switch between standalone and daisy-chain modes, which is what divisible function rooms need: a line-level output passes the signal on to further pairs, so one source can feed a room that is sometimes one space and sometimes two.

The drivers are a 6.5-inch Kevlar woofer and a 0.5-inch silk tweeter, rated at 89 dB sensitivity across 80 Hz to 20 kHz. An IR remote is supplied for bass, treble and volume, with switchable front or rear IR receivers, and RS-232 allows integration with a control system. Cutout is 198 mm. Vision covers the speakers with a lifetime return-to-base warranty.
