Description
The ViewSonic PS502X is a high-brightness XGA short-throw projector designed for classrooms and meeting rooms that lack the depth for a standard throw. A 0.616 throw ratio produces a 100" image from around 1.3m away, keeping the projector beam clear of presenters and reducing glare and shadowing, while 4,000 ANSI Lumens keeps images legible in normal room lighting. Built around a 0.55" XGA DLP chip at 1024x768 native resolution, the fixed lens covers a 60"-300" image range with a 15,000:1 SuperEco contrast ratio. Dual HDMI 1.4 inputs and a 5V/1.5A USB-A power output support quick source switching and dongle power, and a built-in 16W speaker covers presentation audio without extra equipment. The 240W UHP lamp is rated for 4,000 hours in Normal mode and up to 12,000 hours in SuperEco mode, and firmware can be updated on-site over USB.
