Description
The ViewSonic CDE9831-1C is a 98" turnkey, commercial-grade digital display for impactful signage and communication in high-traffic spaces. Despite being marketed under ViewSonic's wider "ViewBoard" branding on some listings, this model is a fixed, non-touch display, not an interactive touch panel - ViewSonic's own product page makes no mention of touch functionality anywhere in its specifications. It uses a 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) native resolution TFT LCD panel with DLED backlight, rated at 500 cd/m2 typical brightness and built for reliable 24/7 operation. The display runs Android 14 AOSP (upgradeable to Android 16) on a quad-core ARM Cortex-A73 processor with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 32GB of storage. Connectivity covers 3x HDMI 2.0 inputs (HDMI1 with ARC), a USB-C input with DisplayPort 1.2, an HDMI output, 2x RJ45 (10/100M via USB-C, 1000M via the OPS slot), USB 2.0 and 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a Type-C port, with 16W x 2 speakers built in. The panel has earned EPEAT Gold certification and meets ENERGY STAR 8.0 standards.
