Description

The Targus Webcam with IR Facial Recognition pairs a Full HD 1080p camera with an infrared sensor, so a user can sign in to a compatible Windows machine by looking at the lens rather than typing a password at the start of every session.

On the video side it uses a bright aperture lens, a CMOS sensor and automatic light correction to keep the picture usable in less than ideal lighting, with autofocus holding the subject sharp. Dual integrated microphones with environmental noise cancellation handle the audio so the presenter sounds as clear as they look.

The clip mount allows 360 degree rotation and includes a screw thread for a tripod, so the camera can be moved away from the monitor for demonstrations or teaching. It is Zoom certified and works with Microsoft Teams, FaceTime, Skype and other conferencing applications, on Chrome OS, Windows and macOS. Targus provides a limited two-year warranty.
