Description
The Sony VPL-PHZ61 is the brighter sibling in Sony's ultra-compact WUXGA laser projector pair, delivering 6,400 lumens (7,000 lm centre) for conference rooms, university lecture halls, large classrooms and esports venues. It shares the PHZ51's sealed, low-maintenance laser light engine and 3LCD BrightEra panel, with Bright View processing to keep colour saturated even in brightly lit spaces and Intelligent Settings with Ambiance for automatic scene tuning via a built-in light sensor. A manual 1.6x zoom lens (throw ratio 1.23:1-1.97:1) with -35%/+55% vertical lens shift simplifies replacing a previously-installed projector without moving an existing ceiling mount. 21:9 (2560x1080) signal support suits ultra-wide hybrid-meeting displays, while 4K 60P input is accepted and scaled to the native WUXGA (1920x1200) panel with Reality Creation detail enhancement. Connectivity covers RGB, 2x HDMI, HDBaseT and composite video inputs plus RS-232C and LAN control, with a built-in 16W speaker. At approximately 7.0 kg it remains one of the lightest projectors in its brightness class.
