Description
The SMART Board M777 is a 77" wall-mounted, front-projection interactive whiteboard with a 4:3 projection area. It turns an existing projector installation into an interactive one, so schools already running projectors can add touch and digital ink without replacing the display.
Connect the board to a computer and a projector and your desktop appears on the interactive surface. You can then open and close applications, browse files, edit documents, visit websites and play video by touching the screen with a finger or the included pen, and write over any application in digital ink before saving those notes.
Touch supports 20 points with Simultaneous Tool Differentiation, which is exclusive to SMART. Two people can write, erase, move or gesture at the same time with no special modes, toolbars or menu selections. Object Awareness automatically recognises the difference between a finger touching, a palm erasing and a pen writing.
The active pen tray gives quick access to ink colour selection, highlighter, fine erase and the on-screen keyboard, with two damage-resistant pens included. The interactive surface is rugged and hardened for classroom use.
The board is a full-speed USB 2.0 bus-powered device with no external power supply and no power switch. It draws power from the computer over the supplied 5m USB cable and is running whenever the computer is on.
SMART Notebook basic software is included with no subscription required, along with a one-year subscription to SMART Learning Suite and unlimited Lumio lesson storage.
Note that a projector is not included and is required to use the interactive features. Projection area is 156.5 x 117.4cm, board weight 13kg.
