Description
The Sharp EP-CA22 is a 28.6" (A2-format) full-colour electronic paper display designed for POS promotions, menu boards, allergen information and wayfinding in retail, hospitality and transport settings. It uses Spectra6 six-colour reflective ePaper technology at a native 2160 x 3060 resolution, producing a bright, paper-like image that stays visible in daylight and requires zero power to hold a static image — power is drawn only when content is changed. Content and power are managed via two USB-C ports, Bluetooth 5.0, and IEEE 802.11 ac/n/a/g/b WiFi, and the panel supports landscape and portrait orientation as well as face-up and face-down installation. At just 14.7mm deep and 2.3kg, it mounts on a standard 200 x 200mm VESA pattern. Buyers should note that the source distributor listed this SKU with "4K UHD, 500 nits" specifications, which describe a conventional backlit LCD; the EP-CA22 is in fact a reflective ePaper display with no backlight or nit-based brightness rating, correctly specified above from Sharp's own datasheet. It is a genuine current Sharp signage product, not a repackaged computer monitor.
