Description

The MME 865 is the condenser module in Sennheiser's wireless capsule range, and the one specified when intelligibility matters more than the forgiving character of a dynamic. Condenser technology gives it a wider response — out to 20 kHz — and more presence than the dynamic modules.

The super-cardioid pattern provides high feedback rejection, which is why this capsule turns up in conference rooms and lecture theatres as well as on stage. Sennheiser lists it as compatible with the handheld transmitters of the ew G3, ew G4, D1, AVX, SpeechLine Digital Wireless and 2000 series.

This is a microphone module only. It screws onto a compatible Sennheiser handheld transmitter using the standard capsule interface; the transmitter, receiver and batteries are separate purchases. Sennheiser's standard warranty is two years.
