Placed out on the table, the pod adds 7.5 ft (2.3 m) of pickup beyond what the bar covers on its own, which matters in long or deep rooms where the far end of the table is off-axis. The top button mutes and unmutes the Videobar 70 and every connected pod at once, and a red or green ring shows the state to everyone in the room.

A dedicated output port takes the UCA-B70-MIC-AUX companion pod, so two pickup points can be positioned independently down a longer table. The pod connects with the supplied 33 ft (10 m) cable and works immediately - there is nothing to program or provision.
