Description

The HP Poly Studio 5 Room Compute is the entry point into HP's modular Microsoft Teams Rooms range. An Intel Core Ultra 5 335 with 8 cores and an integrated NPU rated at 47 TOPS runs the room application and its AI audio and camera processing, with 16 GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 256 GB PCIe NVMe SSD.

It carries the same rear panel as the larger Studio 7: HDMI 2.1b, two DisplayPort 2.1 outputs and a Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C port carrying DisplayPort 2.1, plus Gigabit Ethernet, a 2.5 Gbps PoE port for an IP touch controller, an HDMI ingest input and four USB ports. Ports are colour-coded and the chassis takes a magnetic mounting kit, so a unit can be fixed behind a display without extra brackets. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 are built in.

Microsoft Teams Rooms is preinstalled and the unit auto-pairs with an HP Poly TC10 touch controller, which is required to operate the system and sold separately, as is the Microsoft Teams Rooms licence and the room camera and audio. Rooms are configured, monitored and updated remotely through Poly Lens Cloud, and the platform is protected by HP Wolf Security for Business with TPM 2.0. The chassis uses at least 60% post-consumer recycled plastic.
