Description

Neat Bar BYOD is the bring-your-own-device member of the Neat Bar family. Rather than running a meeting platform itself, it presents its camera, microphones and speaker to a laptop over USB-C, so whatever the person in the room launches on their own machine is what the room serves.

The camera uses a 12 MP sensor at 4056 x 3040 behind a 120-degree lens with 4x digital zoom, and Neat's automatic people framing and dynamic individual framing run on the bar. Five microphones in an end-fire array plus three sensor microphones handle pickup with beamforming, echo cancellation and noise suppression, and the speaker box uses opposing drivers to cancel cabinet vibration.

Unusually for a video bar at this price, every mounting option is in the box: a mount adapter, wall mount, screen mount, table stand and snap-on mount, with the screws and hex keys to fit them. Two HDMI outputs and an HDMI input are provided alongside the USB-C connection.
