Description

<p>The 50in Surface Hub 3 is the small-room and portrait-capable member of the family, and it is genuinely a different panel to the 85in rather than a scaled-down one. The PixelSense IPS display is 3840 x 2560 in a 3:2 aspect ratio, which gives inking and whiteboarding noticeably more vertical canvas than a 16:9 screen, and it supports ten simultaneous touch points with active dual-pen inking.</p><p>An accelerometer and gyroscope let it work in portrait or landscape, and Microsoft's Smart AV re-tunes the audio to match the orientation. The speaker system is a three-way stereo arrangement with six front mid-range drivers, three tweeters and a rear bass driver, and there are two full-band eight-element MEMS microphone arrays certified for Teams to 2.3 metres. A Surface Hub Smart Camera with a 136 degree field of view is included.</p><p>Compute is the same removable cartridge design — Intel i5, 32GB of memory, 512GB SSD — running Windows 11 IoT Enterprise with Microsoft Teams Rooms. There are four USB-C ports on the display (two of them camera ports), one USB-A on the cartridge, gigabit Ethernet, HDMI in, USB-C DisplayPort in and Mini DisplayPort out. One Surface Hub Pen is supplied. Cover is a one-year limited hardware warranty.</p>
