Description

Spotlight replaces the red dot with something an audience on a video call can actually see. Instead of a laser, it drives an on-screen highlight: point at the screen and a spotlight dims everything around the cursor, or a magnifier enlarges the area under it. Because the effect is generated by the computer, it survives projection, a large display and a shared screen equally well.

Three buttons handle next, previous and the highlight, and their behaviour is configurable - including a timer that vibrates the remote as a talk runs down. The remote connects over Bluetooth Low Energy or the bundled 2.4 GHz receiver and works at up to 30 m from the machine.

The rechargeable lithium-polymer cell is rated at three months of use per charge, and a one-minute charge is enough for a full presentation. Logitech supplies a carry pouch and the USB-C charging cable in the box.
