Description

The R400 is the workhorse presenter that has been in service in training rooms for years. It uses a 2.4 GHz USB receiver rather than Bluetooth, which means it works on any machine that has a spare USB-A port and needs no pairing, no drivers and no permissions - the reason it survives in locked-down and shared-PC environments.

The layout is five buttons: forward, back, start/stop, blank screen and the laser. The blank-screen key is the one people miss when they move to a cheaper remote. Range is up to 15 m and the red laser is visible against a projected image.

It runs on two AAA batteries, and the USB receiver stores inside the remote so it does not get lost between rooms. Logitech supplies a soft carry pouch in the box.
