Description

The C920s is the C920 with a privacy shutter in the box. Optically it is unchanged - 1080p at 30 fps through a glass autofocus lens, a 78 degree diagonal field of view, and two omnidirectional microphones covering a talker at about a metre - but the supplied shutter clips over the lens and physically blocks it when the camera is not in use.

That matters in shared and open-plan spaces, and in organisations whose security policy requires a physical block rather than a software one. The shutter is a separate part rather than an integrated slider, so it can be removed entirely if it gets in the way.

RightLight 2 handles exposure in backlit and low-light conditions, and HD autofocus keeps the subject sharp as they move. Connection is USB-A plug-and-play, with a universal clip for monitors and laptops and a quarter-inch tripod thread underneath.
