Description
<p>The ThinkVision MS30 is Lenovo's docking monitor sound bar. Like the MC60 webcam it uses the connector built into compatible ThinkVision displays rather than a USB cable, so a desk gains proper stereo audio without gaining another lead.</p><p>Two 35 x 16mm drivers give 2 x 2W RMS across a 140Hz to 20kHz range, into a 4 ohm load at 85dB sensitivity measured at 1W and half a metre, with better than 64dB signal-to-noise and under 3 per cent distortion. That is a straightforward step up from a monitor's internal speakers for calls, video and background listening.</p><p>The bar is 256mm long and 34.5mm deep, weighs 244g and comes with a key for its integrated security lock — useful in hot-desk and public-facing installations. This is the long-stand version, matched to 27in and 32in ThinkVision panels. Cover is a three-year customer-replaceable-unit warranty.</p>
