Description

The ThinkSmart Cam is Lenovo's room camera for small and medium meeting spaces. It captures 4K at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps across a 125 degree diagonal field of view (100 degrees horizontal, 68 vertical) with lens distortion corrected, and offers 4x digital zoom with digital pan and tilt so a fixed mount can still be aimed.The AI runs on the camera rather than on the room PC: an on-board vision processor handles auto-framing, auto zoom, people counting, speaker tracking and whiteboard awareness, which keeps the compute unit free for the meeting software. It connects over USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 as a plug-and-play UVC device drawing only 2.5W.An important caveat: the microphones on the ThinkSmart Cam are used only for audio-based speaker tracking, not as general-purpose meeting microphones, and there is no speaker. Room audio has to come from a separate device. A mounting bracket and a 5m USB cable are supplied in the box. Cover is three years, depot.
