Description

The Essential FHD Webcam Gen2 is Lenovo's budget deployment camera: 1920 x 1080 capture at a selectable 15, 20, 25 or 30fps in MJPEG, an 85 degree field of view and two built-in microphones, over plain USB-A. It draws only 150mA, so it works on any USB 2.0 port without a powered hub.Field of view and zoom are adjustable, and a physical privacy shutter covers the lens. There is a tripod mount as well as the monitor clip. Lenovo supports Windows 10 and 11, macOS and ChromeOS.This is the second-generation Essential model, with a datasheet dated April 2025. Cover is one year, customer-replaceable unit. Note that Lenovo's published dimension figures for this part number are inconsistent, so they are not listed here.
