Description

The PanaCast SpeakerMic exists to solve one problem: a video bar at the front of a long room cannot hear the people at the back. Plug this into a PanaCast 55 VBS and audio pickup and playback extend to the far end of the room, with the sound mixed seamlessly between the two devices.

Four omnidirectional microphones with built-in noise reduction cover 360 degrees, and a 60 mm speaker gives enough output for people around it to hear clearly. Volume and mute are on the unit itself, so anyone in the room can adjust it without reaching for a controller. It is a compact 136 mm disc, 55 mm tall, weighing 623 g, in fabric, aluminium and black plastic.

Connection is over standard Cat6 cabling (not supplied) with RJ45, using the included SpeakerMic Adapter to convert to USB-C, at cable runs up to 30 metres — so it can be dropped into an existing structured cabling route rather than needing a special run. A mounting plate, adapter and three table adhesives are in the box. It is managed through Jabra Plus alongside the rest of the room.
