The pod talks to its hub over DECT, so microphones can sit where people actually sit rather than where a cable grommet happens to be. Up to four pods pair with a single hub, which is how a long boardroom table gets even pickup instead of one struggling centre unit.

An illuminated ring plus dedicated mute and volume keys make the mute state obvious to everyone in the room, not just the person holding the laptop.
