Description

The INOGENI SDI2USB3 turns a 3G-SDI video feed into a standard USB video device, so a professional SDI camera or camcorder can connect to a computer, laptop or codec. It is UVC compliant, so it works with DirectShow, AVFoundation and V4L2 software on Windows, macOS and Linux, including Teams, Zoom, Webex and Google Meet.

It accepts SDI up to 1080p60 and delivers YUY2 video over USB 3.0, falling back to MJPEG on USB 2.0 ports. Scaling, colour space, sampling and frame rate conversion are handled automatically in hardware, and embedded SDI audio (channels 1 and 2) is passed to the computer as well.

An active BNC loop output lets the same SDI signal continue on to other equipment. The compact unit is powered from the USB port, so no separate power supply is required.
