Description

The INOGENI CAM230 is a USB and HDMI multi-camera switcher with three video inputs (2x USB 3.0/2.0 and 1x HDMI) that are cleanly switched into a single video flow. It provides an HDMI 2.0 output up to 4K60 for CODECs, matrices, monitors or laptops in BYOM settings, plus a USB 2.0 UVC output up to 1080p30 MJPEG with PTZ control. It supports bidirectional audio with videobars and can be switched from the front buttons, from RS-232 or over IP.

Two USB 3.0/2.0 camera inputs and one HDMI input are switched into a single video flow without cutting the presentation.

Dual outputs

1x HDMI 2.0 output up to 4K60 and 1x USB 2.0 Type-B UVC output up to 1080p30 MJPEG with UAC audio I/O and PTZ control.

Bidirectional audio

Audio from the USB or HDMI camera is converted to the HDMI and USB 2.0 interfaces, and audio from the USB 2.0 interface is converted back to the USB camera.

Control options

Front buttons, RS-232 (3-position terminal block, 9600 baud), LAN (100 Mbps, DHCP or static) and USB.

Flexible power

12 V external supply or PoE from an IEEE 802.3af (802.3at Type 1) compliant source.
