Description

The ELPLX01S is Epson's ultra short-throw lens for its large-venue and installation projectors. At a 0.35 throw ratio with a zero-offset design, it puts a 100 to 300-inch image on the wall from almost directly beneath or above it — which is what makes projection viable in a low-ceilinged room, a rear-projection void or a stealth install where the projector must not be visible or in anyone's path.

Zero offset is the part that matters practically: the lens projects square from its own centre line rather than requiring the projector to be offset above or below the screen, so mounting geometry gets much simpler. Wide lens shift gives the remaining adjustment.

The lens carries an integrated mount point for Epson's optional ELPEC01 external camera, which unlocks the automated setup tools on compatible projectors: colour calibration, screen matching across multiple units, tiling assist for edge blends and stacking assist. Epson lists it against Pro L Series, Pro G7000 and EB-PU Series projectors up to 8,500 lumens. Projector sold separately.
