Description
The Wireless Laser Presenter is a plain, quick-to-learn remote: forward, back, black screen and an on/off switch, with a green laser pointer. Green is used rather than red because the eye perceives it as far brighter, so the dot stays visible on large flat panels and in rooms that cannot be darkened.
The 2.4 GHz link works up to 30 metres through the supplied USB dongle, which is more than enough for a lecture theatre. There is no driver to install; the receiver connects automatically to the notebook.
A rechargeable battery is built in rather than a disposable cell, which is one less thing to keep in the AV cupboard. DICOTA gives 24 months of warranty.
