Description

The Webcam PRO Face Recognition adds an infrared sensor alongside the normal optical one, which is what Windows Hello needs for biometric sign-in. On a Windows 10 or 11 machine the user looks at the lens instead of typing a password, and because the identification is biometric rather than image-based it cannot be defeated with a photograph.

Multiple accounts are supported on the same camera, so a shared desk or a family machine still works. Video is Full HD 1080p at 30 fps with autofocus, and an omnidirectional microphone covers the audio side.

The head swivels 20 degrees up and down and rotates 360 degrees, and a privacy screen closes off the lens. The USB 2.0 cable is integrated and 1.5 m long, with no drivers to install. DICOTA gives 24 months of warranty.
