A Microsoft Teams Rooms compute appliance built on an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, driving up to two displays and four USB conferencing peripherals with a dedicated PoE+ port for a Crestron touch screen.

The Intel Core Ultra 5 with 32 GB of DDR5 is specified for the video and meeting-intelligence features Microsoft now expects a room device to run, rather than the bare minimum to join a call. A dedicated 30 W PoE+ sourcing port feeds a Crestron TS(W)-1080-UC touch screen directly, removing a separate injector or switch port from the rack.

Four rear 10 Gbps USB Type-A ports plus HDMI in and three HDMI out cover multi-camera, multi-display rooms without a hub in the cable tray. Crestron's cloud service handles alerts, provisioning and pairing the control device, while the operating system stays on the normal Windows update path.
