The bar presents itself to a connected laptop as a camera, microphone and speaker, so it works with whichever meeting application the visitor happens to be running. It carries the 12 MP camera and 120-degree field of view of the standard Room Bar, so framing quality does not drop just because the room is BYOD.

Two full-range drivers and a four-element beamforming microphone array give a small room proper conference audio instead of laptop speakers. Because it shares the Room Bar hardware platform and mounting kit, a BYOD space can be re-fitted as a managed room without changing the physical installation.
