Description

The wall-mounted version of Cisco's 10.1-inch PoE touch panel, used outside a room as a booking and availability display or inside it as the meeting controller.

Mounted outside a room it shows availability and takes ad-hoc bookings; mounted inside it acts as the touch controller for the room device. The same part covers both jobs. The bracket sets the panel at 15 degrees, which is the angle that reads properly to someone standing in a corridor rather than sitting at a table.

802.3af PoE means one Ethernet drop behind the plasterboard and no socket, which is usually the deciding factor for a corridor installation. Temperature, humidity and air-quality sensors report into Control Hub, turning every booking panel into a data point about how the building is actually used. Specifications on this page are taken from Cisco's published documentation for this part number.
