Putting the array in the ceiling leaves the table free of microphones and cable, which matters in rooms that are reconfigured often or used for more than meetings. Sixty-four elements form eight adaptive beams that steer towards whoever is talking, so voices stay level as people move around a 3.5 metre radius.

It comes up over PoE and configures itself against the host Cisco device, so the install is a cable run and a mount rather than a DSP tuning session. Wire hanging, a ceiling bracket or a drop-ceiling grid mount are all available, which covers exposed-services ceilings and standard suspended tiles alike.
