Description

The TEY1A is BenQ's Google EDLA-certified Android slot-in PC. It drops into the OPS bay of a compatible BenQ Board and adds a second, independent Android 13 system alongside the display's own — useful where a board predates EDLA certification and the site now needs native Google Play and Google services on it.

It runs an eight-core processor with four Arm Cortex-A78 cores for foreground work and four Cortex-A55 cores for background tasks, with 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage. Because it is EDLA certified, the Google Play Store and core Google apps are installed properly rather than sideloaded, and BenQ's Device Management Solution can push firmware and app updates to a fleet of slot-in PCs remotely.

Connections are HDMI 2.0 in and out, 3.5 mm audio in and out, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.2 output and USB 3.0 data, three USB-A 3.0 ports, gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Three Wi-Fi antennas are supplied. BenQ lists it as designed for the RP03, RM03 and RE03 board generations.
