Description

The ATEN SN9116CO is a 16-port serial console server. It aggregates the RS-232 management ports of switches, routers, firewalls, UPS units and headless servers onto one appliance, so those consoles can be reached over the network or, when the network is down, through the out-of-band path.

The unit is a 1U rack appliance, with a single AC power inlet and a Gigabit LAN port. Access is authenticated locally or against an external directory, and sessions can be logged for audit.

Each port is auto-sensing RJ-45. Supplied to order from TopAV with ATEN's 36-month warranty.
