Description

The Acer P5330W is a lamp-based DLP projector built for meeting rooms that have to stay usable with the lights on. It puts out 4,500 ANSI lumens in standard mode at a native 1280 x 800 (WXGA) resolution, with a 20,000:1 contrast ratio and support for input resolutions up to 1920 x 1200.

Installation is straightforward. A 1.3x manual zoom and a 1.19 to 1.54 throw ratio give useful latitude on where the chassis sits, and the projector will fill anything from a 30-inch to a 300-inch screen. Front, rear, ceiling and rear-ceiling modes are all supported, so it works equally well on a table or inverted on a bracket.

A single 16 W speaker is built in, which is loud enough to cover a small or mid-sized room without a separate audio system. The 240 W UHP lamp draws around 290 W in standard mode. At 2.7 kg the P5330W is light enough to move between rooms when needed, but its brightness and connectivity make it a better fit as a fixed meeting room projector.
