Description

The Acer M511 is the Full HD member of Acer's wireless meeting room range. Native 1920 x 1080 resolution and 4,300 ANSI lumens make it a straightforward replacement for an ageing XGA or WXGA projector where the source material has moved to widescreen 1080p video and shared desktops.

Miracast wireless projection is built in, so presenters can connect without a cable. The 245 W lamp works through a 1.1x zoom lens with a 1.5 to 1.66 throw ratio, placing a 60-inch image at about 2 m. Image sizes run from 27 inches to 301 inches, and the 121% projection offset works well for ceiling mounting.

A 10 W speaker covers small-room audio. Security provision includes a Kensington lock slot and a security bar. The chassis is 313 x 240 x 113.7 mm and weighs 3 kg, and power draw is 295 W in standard mode, 215 W in ECO and 0.5 W on standby.
