Description
The ViewSonic CDE5531-1C is a 55-inch commercial-grade display from the CDE31 Series, built for continuous 24/7 use in retail, education and corporate lobby applications. The TFT LCD panel with DLED backlight delivers native 3840 x 2160 4K UHD resolution at 500 cd/m2 typical brightness, a 1200:1 static contrast ratio (5000:1 with DCR enabled), 6.5ms response time and 178-degree viewing angles, behind anti-glare, 3H-hardness glass, and supports both landscape and portrait orientation. It runs Android 14 AOSP on a quad-core ARM Cortex-A73 processor with 8GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, and boots in under 8 seconds thanks to ViewSonic's Fast Warm Boot function. A single USB-C connection carries 4K video, data and up to 65W of power delivery, supplemented by three rear HDMI 2.1 inputs (one with ARC), an HDMI output, two USB-A ports, RJ45 LAN, RS-232, a WiFi slot and dual 16W built-in speakers. The CDE5531-1C is EPEAT Gold certified and ENERGY STAR 8.0 compliant, and integrates with Crestron, Extron and AMX control systems as well as ViewSonic's own device management tools, making it straightforward to deploy and manage across a multi-display estate.
