Description
The Sony VPL-FHZ85 is a compact, high-brightness 3LCD laser projector for mid-size corporate, education and public spaces, delivering 7,300 lumens (8,000 lm centre) from a WUXGA (1920x1200) panel. Unlike Sony's larger FHZ-L installation projectors, the FHZ85 ships with a supplied standard lens fitted (powered focus, approx. x1.6 zoom, throw ratio 1.39:1-2.23:1), with additional optional lenses available from the VPLL-3003/3007/Z3009/Z3010/Z3024/Z3032 range for specialist throw requirements. Bright View processing keeps colours rich in well-lit rooms, and Reality Creation upscales content towards 4K-like clarity; a 4K 60P input is accepted directly, and 21:9 (2560x1080) signal support suits ultra-wide hybrid-meeting layouts. Intelligent Settings with Ambiance uses a built-in light sensor to auto-tune brightness and colour to the room. This white-finish version suits brighter meeting rooms and public spaces. A sealed laser light source and automated filter cleaning every 100 hours minimise maintenance, and the slim, flat-topped chassis (approx. 13 kg) is designed to blend into ceiling-mounted installations.
